Michael Hartnett, a beloved figure in the pug community, was known for his kindness, gentleness, and love for all pugs. He attended countless fundraising events, leaving his mark on every gathering in Manchester.

Mike's cherished pugs—Jason, Molly, Ida-May, and Gertie—were his pride and joy. When Gertie faced mobility challenges, Mike ensured she had the support she needed, even as he faced health issues himself.

In July 2021 Mike's sister, Josie, established the Michael Hartnett Foundation to honour his legacy. The foundation aims to provide mobility equipment, like Gertie’s wheels, to dogs in need. Donations made in Mike's name will fund this equipment which can be hired for your dog, with the proceeds reinvested to assist more dogs.
