Adopting a rescue dog is a huge commitment, both emotionally and financially. Many of our dogs will require special care and attention. Please consider this carefully before applying to adopt or foster.

To assist Pug Life Rescue in adopting or fostering, please complete our adoption form, including the ‘About Yourself’ section, which will enable us to determine your suitability for a rescue dog. All of our precious rescues found to their most perfect home to suit them. Applicants must be aged 21 and over.

Once we receive your application, we will contact you to arrange a video home check. During the home check, we will ask about yourself, your lifestyle, your family, your knowledge and your preferences. There are no right or wrong answers! It is our aim to gather as much information as possible to match you with the perfect dog for you.

Based on this information and the in-depth assessments we complete on our dogs, we will match you to the perfect dog. Once a match is made, we will be in contact to provide all the details of your new family member.

A fee will be required for adoption as funds are needed to allow us to continue to rescue dogs, help pay for vet fees and transportation costs. This is a small donation of £15 to enable us to carry on rescuing. Please note that submitting an adoption form does not guarantee that you will receive a dog. All adoptions are subject to suitability checks to ensure our rescue Pug or Pug Cross is going to the best possible home for the needs of the individual dog.
